Privacy Policy
This site is the official Shadowrocket website and handbook. This policy covers data processing when you read our documentation, use site navigation, or click links. For data processing by the app, your Apple Account, or purchase transactions, refer to the privacy information provided by the relevant product or service.
1. Scope and information you provide
This static site provides purchase verification, usage instructions, and Settings references. It has no account registration, sign-in, email subscription, or file upload. You can read the handbook without providing your name, email address, payment details, or server credentials.
This site does not provide node services or offer, sell, or recommend nodes or subscriptions. It only explains how to use subscription or server details you already have. A one-time client purchase is not a service plan. Do not enter subscription links, passwords, keys, or other connection credentials in page URLs, search parameters, or public feedback. Use these details only where required in the app.
2. Visit data and analytics
When your browser requests a page, hosting and network services may process technical information such as your IP address, request time, page path, response status, browser type, and referring page. This information helps deliver web pages, identify unusual requests, and troubleshoot access issues. A static website can still generate access logs.
We use analytics to understand page visits, reading paths, and how visitors use site entry points. For example, the download guide records an App Store link click when you actively select the App Store button. This helps us assess whether purchase verification guidance is easy to find; a click does not indicate a completed purchase.
Analytics support content maintenance, page usability analysis, and troubleshooting. They are not used to collect configuration details entered in Shadowrocket. A link click does not give this site access to your Apple Account, payment details, or in-app connection records, and reading the handbook does not require you to submit this information.
3. Cookies and browser storage
Static HTML files do not require login cookies. Whether analytics use cookies, session identifiers, or other browser storage depends on the analytics settings in effect when the site is deployed. A static site does not necessarily mean that no storage is used. Local storage is separate from cookies; check your browser's site data when clearing stored information.
You can review data saved by this site in your browser's site settings, restrict cookies, clear site data, or use private browsing. These choices may affect analytics accuracy or saved preferences. Clearing browser data does not automatically delete visit records already stored on the server.
This site does not require browser storage for connection passwords or subscription credentials. Browser-cached fonts, images, and page files help speed up future visits and are separate from configuration data stored in the app.
4. App Store links and purchases
The only place to get Shadowrocket is the App Store product page, operated by Apple. Once you leave this site, page visits, account verification, purchases, payments, and related requests are subject to Apple's terms and privacy policy. This site does not receive payment information or verify transaction status on Apple's behalf.
Before purchasing, verify the developer, Shadow Launch Technology Limited, the official app icon, and app ID 932747118. Check the App Store page for system requirements and purchase availability. Our analytics are separate from Apple's transaction records; App Store link clicks should not be interpreted as purchases.
5. Policy updates and questions
We may revise this policy as site features, analytics settings, or applicable requirements change. The full updated policy and the month of revision will be posted on this page. Significant changes to the data covered or how it is processed will be clearly described. Actual data practices before and after an update depend on the page and deployment settings in effect at the time.
To reduce future browser data collection, start by adjusting your browser's privacy settings. For purchase verification or usage questions, see the FAQs in the User Guide or App Store Purchase and Restore Guide. When reviewing or describing an issue, do not include personal account information or complete connection credentials.
